The best daily make-up routine

Of all the make-up tutorials none have delievered on the truth behind what it really takes to stand out of the crowd quite like this one.

And the results are real, you can see them are right before your eyes, through Anna herself.
From the way she speaks, to the way she holds herself.
I'm definately hitting the Subscribe button on this entertaining lady.

Paddling at Manly Beach

• Glassy Days: Paddling Manly Beach
Basking in the glorious life outdoors.
I've been chasing summer and getting as much time in the water before winter hits Sydney.

Out at one of my favourite places, easily a 5 minute stroll just off Manly Beach is Shelly. Here the water's calm with a few waves breaking at the headland, along with Mambo Coffee+Tees. Absolutely love getting some boards and doing some Stand Up Paddleboarding.

How I Remember My Hombres

The past six months has seen not only me but also a few of my friends jet set round the world.
Last week saw the last hombre return and we were all in the same country again, back in the neighbourhood.

As per usual that called for a good round of drinking catching up and swapping travel stories before someone was swept off again. Taking the chance to get some photos of the crew with my new camera, getting some good action shots, of taking shots that is.

I decided to make my own HIMYM opening sequence.
If we had a show about a bunch of friends and their antics this would be the opening credits.

I was starting to think she didn't exist.

I am a longtime How I Met Your Mother fan, and just finished off the series with its "controversial" ending. Admittedly, no, it was not what I expected from this sitcom. Although in this fan's opinion it was a solid ending, And the kids have a point. So much of it was based around the five it was wrong to think in the last moments a sixth person was going to swoop in to tie all ties in an epic happily ever after.

"if you can't understand what's been produced, then you haven't been paying attention" - David Letterman

But I think we're focusing on the wrong thing here. Yes, endings are a big part to the story.
But the story isn't the ending, the story is what happened getting there. You don't stick around nine seasons just to see what happens, finales are never the endlessly played re-runs, finales aren't the years from now re-enacted moments and mimicked lines. Nope, it's that middle part, the 205 episodes in between pilot and finale that really matters. And I would rather a confused ending than a confused and cut too short series.

The show is a lot bigger than the last two episodes, and I will continue to love it for what it was.
(.. Look how bloody sentimental I'm getting over a show.)

Mainpoint, this is one of my favourite HIMYM moments.

Beyonce 4

My girl Bey Bey, or for most of you aka Mrs. Beyonce Knowles Carter be in Sydney, well at least she was recently rocking her 2013 Mrs. Carter tour.

The show was flawless from opening minute to the final number,
Hearing Beyonce's voice live was breathtaking, it was as though it had healing powers.
And if only my body could move so fluidly when in heels, admiring the performer she is, her ankles must be made of steel.
Girl knows how to put on a show, not amazed that zero makeup came off when she patted her self off with clean white towels because there was a continuous wind effect following her around,
'where's this wind coming from?'
Her presence is hypnotising, she can stand on stage for a good odd minute without saying a word, the crowds in love with her and excited to watch her be nothing but present.

Her 4 video documents the creation of her her album 4, it resonates so strongly with me, with an amazing message of what it means to take life by the horns and live it to the full without regret, doing what you love.

She is a dream come true, She is flawless, She run the world, She is Beyonce.
And she is nothing short of a wonder of a woman. Empowering, Inspirational, Beautiful and Talented.
